Qantas Holidays unveils new agent services

Holidays has launched a new Industry Sales Site, as part of a range of changes to its servicing solutions.Announced today, the company said its new products were an “evolution” of the company’s offerings and would provide further support for its preferred agents.Among the changes includes the new sales site;, the introduction of Specific Destination specialist teams in reservation sales for the USA/Canada, Hawaii, UK/Europe and Middle East, Asia, South Pacific and New Zealand and Domestic.According to the company, its specialist reservation sales team have undergone up to 2000 hours of knowledge and training in the destinations.Qantas Holidays general manager wholesaler Michael Londregan described changes as an “exciting evolution” for the company as it “recognises that” the group’s “number one asset” is its reservations sales people.“In fact reservations sales are the epicentre of our business and this framework allows us to provide the specialist advice and support our preferred agents have been requesting,” Mr Londregan said. A specialist Online team has also been included in the new services for easyway, Calypsonet and ReadyRooms and improved communication channels via voice and email.The company’s manager national industry sales Fiona Dalton said introducing E-Commerce support teams would ensure the company “provide specialist support” to the source that brings in up to 50 percent of its bookings.“This extra piece in our service solution will free our Business Development Executives to focus on their business partnerships, and provide the product and sales support their agents require.” Source = e-Travel Blackboard: NJlast_img read more
